A. M. SHAIKH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, CELEBRATED VAN MAHOTSAV WEEK 2026

A. M. SHAIKH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL celebrated Van Mahotsav Week 2026 by organizing a Plantation Drive on 6th and 7th July 2026 under the inspiring theme “Healing the Earth through Greener Initiatives.” The programme was conducted by the Department of Homoeopathic Pharmacy to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness about the vital role of trees in sustaining a healthy ecosystem.

The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Kiran Patil and Vice Principal Dr. Najib Patel, who planted teakwood (Tectona grandis) saplings within the Shaikh campus, symbolizing the institution’s dedication to environmental sustainability. Faculty members of the Department of Homoeopathic Pharmacy enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive and encouraged the importance of preserving nature while maintaining a green campus.

The celebration emphasized the values of afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and collective environmental responsibility. The initiative inspired students and staff to actively contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and healthier future through sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
