A. M. SHAIKH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, organizes guest lecture on Mechanism of Muscle Contraction and Neuromuscular Junction

The Department of Physiology & Biochemistry successfully organized a guest lecture on 25th June 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Farheenbanu Balikai, Professor, USM-KLE International Medical Programme, Belagavi, who shared her expertise on the topic “Mechanism of Muscle Contraction and Neuromuscular Junction.”

The programme was graced by Principal Dr. Kiran N. Patil, Dr. Asim M. Patel (HOD, Physiology), Dr. V. V. Kulkarni, Dr. Sachin Patil, Dr. Pratibha Nagannavar, Dr. Farhankhan Pathan, Dr. Sabha Mestri, and Dr. Kirti. The event was smoothly compered by Sakoor and Dua. Akshata welcomed the gathering, while Noorain introduced the guest speaker.

Dr. Balikai delivered an insightful and engaging lecture, enriching students with a deeper understanding of physiological mechanisms and clinical relevance. As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to the guest speaker by Principal Dr. Kiran N. Patil and faculty members. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Fatima.
