A. M. SHAIKH HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED FEDERATION SHAIKH FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2026

A. M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and P.G. Research Centre successfully hosted the Federation Shaikh Football League on 2nd and 3rd July 2026 at the Shaikh Campus Ground. The two-day tournament brought together 25 teams comprising participants in the 15–20 years age group, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. The league was inaugurated by Dr. Sabina, Chairperson & Managing Trustee of SGI, in the presence of faculty members, staff, students, and participating teams. Addressing the gathering, she motivated the players to uphold discipline, unity, and the true values of sports throughout the tournament. The ceremonial coin toss by Dr. Sabina marked the official commencement of the matches.

The tournament concluded on a high note with MMD Football Club emerging as the champions, while Shaikhians Academy secured the runners-up position. Both teams were felicitated with trophies and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances. The event proved to be a grand success, encouraging physical fitness, camaraderie, and leadership while reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting sports alongside academic excellence.
